عزيزنا المقتني، هذه السياسة عهدٌ بيننا وبينك، كتبناها كما نكتب كل شيء هنا: بحبر صادق. إتمامك للطلب يعني أنك قرأتها ورضيت بها — نعم، حتى وإن لم تقرأها، لكننا نراهن أنك من النوع الذي يقرأ.

الباب الأول: في أنّ النوادر لا تعود

مقتنياتنا في الغالب نسخة واحدة لا ثانية لها؛ ليست عنوانًا على رفّ تتكرر فيه النسخ، بل نسخة بعينها قطعت عقودًا لتصل إليك، إذا خرجت من المتجر أُغلق بابها خلفها. ولهذا، واستنادًا إلى المادة (الثالثة عشرة) من نظام التجارة الإلكترونية السعودي التي تستثني الصحف والمجلات والمنشورات والكتب من حق الاسترجاع، فإن جميع الكتب والمقتنيات في مِحبرَة غير قابلة للاسترجاع أو الاستبدال لمجرد تغيير الرأي — فالنسخة الواحدة لا بديل لها يُستبدل بها أصلًا، وقد حاولنا إقناع النوادر بمبدأ العودة، فأبت؛ هذه طباعها منذ قرن.

وعهدنا المقابل لك: كل نسخة مفحوصة وموثقة بالصور قبل شحنها، والصور في صفحة المنتج هي النسخة ذاتها التي ستصلك — «تحصل على ما تراه» فإن وصلك المقتنى بحالة تختلف جوهريًا عن صوره الموثقة، أخبرنا خلال ثلاثة أيام من استلام الشحنة مع صور توضح الحالة ورقم الطلب، ولك منا الإنصاف كاملًا.

️ الباب الثاني: فيما ليس كتابًا

ما لم يكن من جنس الكتب — كالقرطاسية والفواصل الورقية الجديدة — يسري عليه حق الاسترجاع خلال سبعة أيام من الاستلام وفق النظام، ما دام بحالته الأولى لم يُستخدم، ويتحمل العميل تكلفة شحن الإرجاع. أما المواد الرقمية فهي كالسرّ: متى بُحت به لم يعد يُسترد — غير قابلة للاسترجاع بعد إتاحتها للتحميل، وفق استثناءات النظام.

⏳ الباب الثالث: في الرجوع قبل فوات الأوان

يمكنك تعديل طلبك أو إلغاؤه ما دام لم يدخل بعد في حالة «جاري التنفيذ» أو «تم التنفيذ»؛ فإذا دخل إحداهما فقد حزمت النسخة حقيبتها وودّعت الرف وبدأت رحلتها إليك — ولا أحد يقنع كتابًا عقد النية على السفر بالعدول عن ذلك.

️ الباب الرابع: في النسخة التي سبقك إليها غيرك

لأن مقتنياتنا في الغالب نسخة واحدة، فمن سبق إليها أخذها، وقد يتبيّن بعد الطلب أن نسخةً ما وجدت منزلها للتو. حينها نخطرك فورًا، ولك أن تستعيد قيمتها أو تختار مقتنىً آخر بالقيمة نفسها — ولا تحزن؛ فالمكتبة لا تنام، ولعل نسخة أجمل تطرق بابك غدًا. وتُعاد المبالغ دون تأخير، وخلال مدة لا تتجاوز أربعة عشر يومًا، وبنفس وسيلة الدفع ما لم نتفق معك على غيرها. وقد يتأخر شحن الطلب عن موعده المعتاد إن تأخر الرد على إشعارنا بوجود نافد.

الباب الخامس: في رحلة الشحنة

نعتني بمقتنياتك كما لو كانت لنا: كل شحنة تُغلف يدويًا بعناية وتُضاف إليها طبقات حماية تصون المقتنى في رحلته وتغادر المتجر بحالة سليمة موثقة بالصور. وإذا أصابها في الطريق ما لا نتمناه، فقط أخبرنا خلال ثلاثة أيام من الاستلام مع صور توضح الحالة ورقم الطلب، ونحن نتكفل بالباقي: نتابع المطالبة مع شركة الشحن بأنفسنا، ونعوضك متى ثبت أن الضرر حدث أثناء النقل. مقتنياتك أمانة عندنا حتى تصلك بخير

وفي الطلبات الدولية: قد تفرض جمارك بلد المستلم رسومًا على الشحنة، وهي — إن وُجدت — على العميل، فنرجو التأكد من أنظمة بلدك قبل الطلب. وإذا أوقفت الجمارك الشحنة لمخالفة الكتب لأنظمة بلد المستلم، تُعاد قيمة المنتجات بعد خصم تكلفة الشحن ذهابًا وإيابًا (وتُخصم القيمة الفعلية للشحن حتى مع عروض الشحن المجاني).

الباب السادس: في الشحنة التي طرقت الباب ولم يفتح لها أحد

إذا عادت إلينا شحنة لم تُستلم — بعد أن انتظرت على الباب ما انتظرت — نخطرك عبر البريد الإلكتروني، ونعيد شحنها بعد تحمّلك تكلفة الشحن الثانية وما ترتب على عدم الاستلام. فإن مضى شهر من تاريخ الإشعار دون رد، سقط حق المطالبة بالشحنة أو التعويض. وإن اخترت إلغاء الطلب بدل إعادة شحنه، خُصمت تكلفة شحن الإرجاع وأي تكاليف أخرى، إضافة إلى رسوم بوابة الدفع (2٪ للدفع الإلكتروني، و6٪ لتمارا وتابي).

وعند اختيار الشحن عبر ريدبوكس: يبقى الطلب لديهم يومين، ويمكن طلب تمديد خمسة أيام إضافية بتكلفة إضافية عبر ريدبوكس. وعند الإعادة لعدم الاستلام يتحمل العميل تكلفة إعادة الشحن (تبدأ من 10 ريالات لأول 5 كيلو وريال لكل كيلو إضافي) أو إلغاء الطلب بعد خصم قيمة الشحن المذكورة.

⚖️ الباب السابع: في أحكامٍ يحسُن ذكرها

على العميل التأكد من صحة بياناته، والمتجر غير مسؤول عن تأخيرٍ سببه خطؤها. وللمتجر تعديل أسعار المنتجات على مدار العام، غير أن سعر المنتج لا يتغير بعد لحظة شرائه — فما اشتريته بثمنه فهو لك به، حتى لو ارتفعت قيمته بعدها وتحسّرنا نحن. وفي العروض من نوع «منتج والثاني مجانًا أو مخفض» يُطبق العرض على الأقل سعرًا.

️ Exchange & Return Policy

Dear collector, this policy is a covenant between us, written the way we write everything here: in honest ink. Completing your order means you have read and accepted it — yes, even if you skipped it, though we're betting you're the reading kind.

Chapter One: On Rare Things That Do Not Return

Most of our items exist as a single copy, with no second of its kind; not a title restocked on a shelf, but one particular copy that crossed decades to reach you — once it leaves the store, its door closes behind it. Accordingly, and pursuant to Article 13 of the Saudi E-Commerce Law — which exempts newspapers, magazines, publications, and books from the right of withdrawal — all books and collectibles at Mahbarah are non-returnable and non-exchangeable for change of mind; a single copy has, by its nature, nothing to be exchanged for. We once tried persuading the rarities to accept the concept of coming back; they declined. They've been set in their ways for a century.

Our covenant in return: every copy is inspected and photographed before shipping, and the photos on the product page show the very copy you will receive — what you see is what you get Should an item arrive in a condition materially different from its documented photos, notify us within three days of delivery with photos and your order number, and you shall have full fairness from us.

️ Chapter Two: On That Which Is Not a Book

Items other than books — such as new stationery and bookmarks — carry a statutory right of return within seven days of delivery, provided they remain unused and in their original condition; return shipping is borne by the customer. Digital materials are like a secret: once told, they cannot be taken back — non-refundable once made available for download, per the law's exemptions.

⏳ Chapter Three: On Turning Back Before It Is Too Late

You may amend or cancel your order so long as it has not entered the "In Progress" or "Completed" status; once it has entered either, your copy has packed its bag, bid the shelf farewell, and begun its journey to you — and no one has ever talked a book out of a journey it has set its heart on.

️ Chapter Four: On the Copy Another Reached First

Because most of our items are single copies, the first to claim one keeps it — and it may transpire after ordering that a copy has just found its home. We will notify you at once; you may recover its value or choose another item of equal worth — and do not grieve: the library never sleeps, and a finer copy may knock on your door tomorrow. Refunds are issued without delay, within no more than fourteen days, and via the same payment method unless otherwise agreed. Shipping may be delayed beyond the usual period if a reply to our sold-out notice is delayed.

Chapter Five: On the Shipment's Journey

We care for your items as if they were our own: every shipment is wrapped by hand with added protective layers to guard it on its journey and leaves the store in sound, photo-documented condition. Should anything befall it on the road, simply tell us within three days of delivery, with photos and your order number, and we shall handle the rest: we pursue the claim with the carrier ourselves and compensate you once transit damage is confirmed. Your items remain our trust until they reach you safely

For international orders: the destination country's customs may impose duties, which — if any — are borne by the customer; please verify your country's regulations before ordering. If a shipment is held for books that contravene the destination country's regulations, the product value is refunded after deducting round-trip shipping costs (the actual shipping cost is deducted even under free-shipping offers).

Chapter Six: On the Shipment That Knocked and Found No One Home

If a shipment returns to us unclaimed — having waited at the door as long as it could — we notify you by email and reship it once you bear the second shipping cost and any costs arising from non-receipt. If one month passes from the date of notice without reply, the right to claim the shipment or compensation lapses. If you choose to cancel instead of reshipping, return shipping and related costs are deducted, along with payment-gateway fees (2% for electronic payment, 6% for Tamara and Tabby).

For RedBox delivery: the order remains with RedBox for two days, extendable by five additional days at extra cost through RedBox. If returned unclaimed, the customer bears the reshipping cost (from 10 for the first 5 kg and 1 per additional kg) or may cancel after the said shipping cost is deducted.

⚖️ Chapter Seven: On Matters Worth Mentioning

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their details; the store bears no responsibility for delays caused by errors therein. The store may adjust product prices throughout the year, yet a product's price never changes after the moment of purchase — what you bought at its price is yours at that price, even if its value rises afterward and we quietly sigh. In offers such as "buy one, get one free or discounted," the offer applies to the lower-priced item.
