أسعد الجبوري شاعر وروائي عراقي من مواليد 1951، خرج من العراق ويقيم في الدنمارك منذ 1989. له ثلاثة عشر ديوانًا، أولها «ذبحت الوردة.. هل ذبحت الحلم» 1977، وآخرها «متى تخلد ساعتي للنوم» 2013، وعدة روايات منها «الحمى المسلحة» و«سائق الحرب الأعمى» و«ديسكولاند» و«ثعابين الأرشيف».

Asaad Al-Jabouri is an Iraqi poet and novelist born in 1951, resident in Denmark since 1989. He has published thirteen poetry collections — the first in 1977, the most recent in 2013 — and several novels including "The Armed Fever", "The Blind War Driver", "Discoland" and "Snakes of the Archive".
